The Parkville-Carney Business and Professional Association
consists of five officers and up to ten board members and the members. You must
be a member and attend at least three meetings in a twelve month period to hold
an office or be a board member. Officers are elected on odd numbered years
and hold office for two years. Board members are elected on even numbered
years and hold office for two years.
Our goal this year is to increase members from the Carney
area. Find out what the issued are in Carney, help address them and find
solutions. We wish to extend our programs to include the Carney area and
encourage the Carney businesses to address their traffic concerns, safety
issues, community involvement and school programs.
Breakfast meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each
month. Coffee and Danish are served at each meeting. You do
not need to be a member to attend the meetings, however you must be a member to
have a vote or voice at the regular meetings. You may make an announcement
or discussion at the end of the meetings.
The Membership fee is $50.00 for July 1 through June 30 of each year. This includes newsletters, listing on the web
page, listing in the Parkville-Carney Business Directories, listing on the area
map. |
