Carney Animal Hospital (AAHA) Ed Jendrek started at Carney in 1960--as the kennel boy. Thirty-seven years later, he knows a lot about making people and their pets happy. "It's the little things that count," he says. Like the blooming flowers and manicured lawn outside, the friendly staff and short wait inside. "I always talk to the pet when I walk in the exam room," he adds, "and I always have a snack in my pocket."
